CROYDON HOSTEL
Hostel care is one of the major services provided by the
Elderly Australian Chinese Homes for the frail aged. Its Croydon
Hostel is situated at 17-19 Brady Street, Croydon [MAP]
and has been operating since 7th February 1990.
Approved and funded by both the Federal Government and State Government,
the hostel has 18 rooms and is operating to full capacity while
the waiting list is over 100.

Objective
To provide long-term as well as respite accommodation.
Eligibility
To be eligible, a person must be of Chinese origin and over 65 years
old. It is also assessed on the basis of individual needs, taking
into account applicant's medical, social and environmental requirements.
Service Fee
85% of the Age Pension
