CHESTER COURT - CLUSTER HOUSING
A cluster of villas specifically designed for the frail
aged is built by the NSW Department of Housing under the Support
Housing Incentive Program and managed by the Elderly Australian
Chinese Homes.
Situated at 61 Priam Street, Chester Hill, [MAP]
there is a total of 5 villas and one community room. All the villas
are purpose-built to suit the elderly. The community room is used
for tenants meetings and other activities organised by the organisation.
The tenants are supported by a variety of community services and
home care service.

Objective
To group the elderly Chinese live in a cluster will enable them
to help one another in times of emergency.
Eligibility
Anyone over 65 years of age and of Chinese, Indo-Chinese and Vietnamese
descent and must satisfy the NSW Department of Housing's eligibility
for public housing.
