Elderly Australian Chinese Homes
Elderly Australian Chinese Homes (NSW) Co-operative Limited is a
non-profit making, charitable and public benevolent co-operative
society. It provides Chinese-speaking hostel care and related services
and is receiving financial assistance and support from the Federal
Government, State Government and local councils.
Established in May 1987, the organisation (EACH) cares for the
financially disadvantaged and non English-speaking background groups
and demonstrates respect for the rights and dignity of older people,
addresses their needs and provides a culturally appropriate environment
for people of diverse cultural and religious backgrounds in a home
like environment.
The honorary Board of Directors comprises a group of Chinese professionals
who are desirous of dedicating their time to serving the community.
